The winches used by Bushey Hall for this vehicle are the PATRIOT HD Planetary, with a line pull rating of 3200kg, and the REP9000x, with a rating of 2200kg. Both ratings are in accordance with BS7901 AND DIN15020 and the winches are CE marked in compliance with the EU Machinery Directive. All installations carried out by the BHW Group are subjected to thorough proof load testing, and their winches incorporate load limiting. Particular attention is paid to the electrical wiring to prevent water damage; it is run in flexible conduit and the system is fused.

On 31 May the BHW GROUP Ltd acquired Recovery Equipment Direct (RED). Previous owner, Philip Page will continue to remain involved with the business, and the existing staff and operating base in Warwick are being retained.
